Description
This PALS module gives the participants an understanding of the part that interpersonal skills play in communication and in forming and maintaining relationships and friendships. Some of the areas covered include: saying thank you, how to disagree politely, apologising if you feel it’s required and being heard and feeling included in conversations. A primary focus of this in-person group is to encourage the participants to generalise the skills they are learning with each other and to develop an understanding of interpersonal skills in building positive relationships with others. These modules are aimed at children between the ages between 10-14 years old with with good receptive language skills.
