About The Life Skills & Wellbeing Programme: 

This is a 5 week programme for young people aged ????? between with good receptive language skills.

The programme will cover a number of areas including practical items such as household tasks, cooking and understanding and managing money. There will also be a focus on physical wellbeing with exercise sessions and games included in each session and the programme will also put a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing and developing and maintaining positive mental health. This will also be a safe social space where the participants can interact, talk to each other and share group and paired tasks together.

 

Week 1:

  1. Getting to know each other
  2. Making & baking Cookies/ tidying up and eating up.
  3. Introduction to some easy physical exercises.
  4. Social time to chat and get to know each other.

Week 2:

  1. What is wellbeing? Why is it important ? How do I manage my own wellbeing?
  2. Recognising emotions.
  3. Keeping my own space tidy.
  4. Some physical exercise.
  5. Social time.
